Plymouth Drake Foundation awarded Pride in Plymouth £100 from our Plymouth Training Fund.
The training programme will train 15- 20 volunteers in stewarding an event and parade, this means that:
1. All trained volunteers will learn how to correctly use digital radios
2. Understand the roles and responsibilities of a volunteer steward
3. Understand the event health and safety.
The event these volunteers will be focussing on is the annual summer pride celebration that this year will be on Saturday 8th August on Plymouth Hoe.
Pride in Plymouth is a non-profit community organisation that brings people and groups together to celebrate and promote the diversity that exist within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans communities in Plymouth. To find out more | Click
