On Thursday 29th January one of our Trustees, Elaine Bleazard, visitng the Stoek Damerel Parish Centre. The Centre had recently received a grant of £500 from us and were setting up their new community Cafe for the first time.
Elaine reported back to the Plymouth Drake Foundation and told us that it was a fantastic first day and though that it was a great idea to utilise the independent living classes this way.
The grant came from our named fund which is held with Devon Community Foundation, these funds are a legacy and will always be available to the Plymouth Communities.
