Grant Awarded | March 2015

Plymouth Drake Foundation awarded Memory Matters £140 from our Plymouth Training Fund.

Director, Laura Walker will use the funding to attend training with the research team that founded Cognitive Stimulation Therapy at University College London. The training is taking place on the 10th July 2015 at University College London.

The benefits of the training means Memory Matters will be completely up to date with the current research and activities around cognitive stimulation therapy. It will also give them a deeper understanding of individualised CST. This means, potentially, they can run training sessions for carers in this approach, which has a significant impact on the lives of those suffering from dementia.
