The grant will go towards Paediatric First Aid training for the staff. Nutkins staff are required to attend a 12 hour Paediatric first aid course every 3 years.
The training will help enhance the opportunities for the children to go on outside trips, as first aiders are required when going on trips. The staff would benefit greatly from knowing that all up-to-date procedures are implemented; thus ensuring that the children are safe.
