The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Riding Stables, Bickleigh, (formerly Bickleigh Saddle Club) is a UK Registered Charity, (No; 1141412). Have been successful is recieving a Plymouth Training Grant from us.
12 members of staff and volunteers will benefit from the first aid training, this will help support over 400 members, ranging in age and backgrounds.
The grant is important because staff and volunteers overseeing riding activities must be appropriately qualified including first aid trained. Existing staff are first aid qualified but need to attend renewal training in June 2015 to qualify them for a further 3 years. The £150 training grant will go towards this requirement and allow the stables to offer a range of activities in safe and professional environment.
