We awarded Theatre Royal £2,500 to run 6 taster sessions for wounded, injured and sick service personnel, service veterans, reservists and their dependents.
The funding will be used to engage with beneficiaries as Company members, they will participate directly in the creation, production and performance of a specially commissioned play, giving them direct insight into the theatre industry and enabling them to experience a variety of employment opportunities. The play will be based on their own experiences, thus aiming to improve confidence, motivation to support individual recovery and wellbeing.
