We have funded the Lenkiewicz Foundation to receive governance training for trustees and a staff member.
The Lenkiewicz Foundation and Fotonow CIC are applying to PCC for a Community Asset Transfer of St Saviours Hall, a beautiful Victorian former Sunday school hall on the Barbican.
St Saviours is to become an independent CIO directed by a board shared by Fotonow CIC and The Lenkiewicz Foundation.
The training grant will fund important governance training from a charity and social enterprise law specialist. They require legal advice regarding some specific details not included in the template articles currently available. The training will help them understand corporate VS individual trustees and help ensure no conflict of interest exists between the trustees and the tenants within the building.
