We funded Pregnancy Crisis Care to receive training from our Plymouth Training Fund. The training will tackle the difficult subject of child sexual exploitation. An issue that affects a number of Pregnancy Crisis Care's clients.
Pregnancy Crisis Care see many vulnerable young people in their organisation, attending this training day will help raise awareness and develop the necessary skills in dealing with potential child sexual exploitation. This is particularly relevant to Pregnancy Crisis Care due to the fact that they see women who face unplanned pregnancy, and they sometimes see women who may have possible abuse or exploitation going on in their lives.
One of our team attending this training will cascade the knowledge and skills gained to the rest of the team members, to ensure their awareness is also raised and all involved benefit from the course.
